Paths to wander

I use a variety of diferent types of paths in my garden. This one is easy, I just use shredded pine bark mulch for a very natural look.

The pavers add a little more formal feeling, but still very comfortable.

Stone is probably the most eye catching path of all.

This shows a trick I learned from Garden Gate magazine. Put a curve in your walk, and don't reveal your front door right away. Also, use a tree or shrub as a view block to give privacy to your door from the street.
