liriope

My friend gave me a speices of liriope from her big clump that has white edged spiked leaves with dark green foliage. I was wondering if this was a shade or sun plant. I have never planted this kind of plant, so any help would be greatly appretiated. Also, i was wondering how fast it would grow. :confused: [color:yellow] [/color]

Depending on what zone you are in, liriope generally like morning sun and afternoon dappled shade. They are usually pretty quick growers.
