Fast growing bushes/trees to separate properties

My neighbor (and friend) just took down their chain link fence and now both properties have nothing to separate them.

Any recommendation on a tree or bush that grows fast to put where the fence used to be? Privacy is the main purpose. It is a pretty sunny part of the property.
