Peony - Janet214 - 03-13-2010 Hi, does anyone know if you can start your peonies in peat pots and then set them in the garden? I have never grown peonies, but trying them this year if we ever get to spring, lol. Re: Peony - IntrepidMeredith - 04-03-2010 Peonies are best planted directly in the garden in spring or fall. Place the roots so the reddish eyes are 1-2" below the soil surface. They may take a couple of years before they start blooming, but once they do, you'll be in for quite a show! |
