Mirabilis from seed??? - merlin - 08-29-2008
Hi everyone, this year I planted several of the "Z-scape" variety of the above from seedlings bought at a nursery - they did really well. I've been collecting the hard, round black seeds that have been forming, with an eye toward trying to plant them directly into the ground (I truly have no room to start seeds early inside the house)next year. Does anyone know if this plant is successful for doing that? I am zone 5, just south of Chicago. If so, how should I store the seeds over the winter?
