flower ID? wide gold overlap petals, gold center - ranrah63 - 07-01-2007
This flower is a perennial (at least for me here in SW Oregon), thin leaves in a bunch. Flower stalk is about 4-5 in. above leaves. The flower closes at night and on cloudy days. The seed head is very sharp if I try to dead head by hand.
