This is my first expierence with orange trees. We bought this house last year and my orange tree had many flowers in the spring and lots of baby oranges all summer. Now that they are bigger they're cracking down the middle. I'm in zone 10 near Houston and we did have that big rain for Allison. Would that be the reason? Is there anything I can do to prevent this next year? What and when do I feed this tree? Do I need to prune it? It's about 8'tall and the lady we bought the house from said they were big, sweet Texas oranges. That's all I know. Thanks for your time.
