I dig them up and store over winter and replant in spring. I add a little bulb fertilizer at planting and a little general fertilizer. I water when dry. They are planted in morning sun and dappled afternoon shade. Any one have any suggestions for me? I'd probably stop using the general fertilizer. It sounds like your bulbs may be getting too much nitrogen which would cause great foliage growth with few or no blooms. If you really feel that your plants need something in addition to the bulb fertilizer, a handful of compost might be a better idea.
